Privacy Policy

FIIT ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the FIIT mobile application and website at getfiit.app, how we use it, and what choices you have.
By using FIIT, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, we receive your name and email address from the authentication provider. We do not receive or store your Apple or Google password.
Health and nutrition data
To provide coaching and tracking features, we collect information you provide, including:
- Height, weight, age, and body measurements
- Calorie and macronutrient goals
- Meals and food logs, including photos for AI analysis
- Daily check-in responses and progress notes
- Activity and exercise information
Photos
Food photos you capture are processed by our AI system to identify foods and estimate nutritional values. Photos are transmitted securely and not stored on our servers beyond what is necessary to generate the analysis (within seconds of upload).
Usage and diagnostic data
We collect anonymized data about how you interact with the app (features used, session duration) via PostHog, and crash/error reports via Sentry. This data does not include your personal health information and is used only to improve the app.
Purchase information
Subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive confirmation of your subscription status through RevenueCat but do not receive or store payment card details.
2. How we use your information
- Provide and operate the FIIT application
- Generate personalized fat loss plans and AI coaching responses
- Analyze meal photos and return nutritional estimates
- Send daily check-in notifications (if you opt in)
- Process and manage your subscription
- Monitor for errors and fix bugs
- Understand aggregate usage trends to improve the product
- Respond to support requests
We do not use your health data for advertising. We do not sell your personal information.
3. AI processing
FIIT uses Claude, Anthropic's AI model, to power coaching and photo analysis. When you interact with the AI coach or submit a food photo, relevant context is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. Anthropic does not use your inputs to train their models by default. We send only the minimum data necessary to generate the response.
4. Third-party services
FIIT integrates with the following third-party services. Each is contractually required to protect your data and use it only to provide their services to us.
Anthropic (Claude AI)
Processes food photos and coaching context to generate macro estimates and guidance. Does not use your data for model training by default.
RevenueCat
Handles subscription management and purchase verification. May collect device identifiers and purchase history.
PostHog
Anonymized usage analytics. Collects feature usage and session data — no personal health information.
Sentry
Error monitoring and crash reporting. Collects stack traces and device context when the app crashes.
Google / Apple Sign-In
Authentication only. We receive only your name and email to create your account.
5. Data retention
We retain your account and health data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law. Food photos are not retained after analysis.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and data
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Opt-out — disable analytics in Settings at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@getfiit.app. You can also delete your account directly in Settings → Account → Delete Account.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encrypted storage, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by law.
8. Children's privacy
FIIT is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
