FIIT ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the FIIT mobile application and website (getfiit.app), how we use it, and what choices you have.
By using FIIT, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
When you create an account using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, we receive basic profile information such as your name and email address from the authentication provider. We do not receive or store your Apple or Google password.
To provide coaching and tracking features, we collect information you provide or that we help you log, including:
If you use the photo food logging feature, images you capture are processed by our AI system to identify foods and estimate nutritional values. Photos are transmitted securely and used only to generate the nutritional analysis. We do not store your food photos beyond what is necessary to deliver the analysis.
We collect anonymized data about how you interact with the app, such as which features you use, session duration, and crash reports. This is collected via PostHog (analytics) and Sentry (error monitoring). This data does not include your personal health information and is used solely to improve the app.
If you subscribe to FIIT Pro, purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive confirmation of your subscription status through RevenueCat but do not receive or store your payment card details.
We may collect standard device identifiers, operating system version, and app version to diagnose technical issues and ensure compatibility.

We do not use your health data for advertising purposes. We do not sell your personal information.
FIIT uses Claude, an AI model developed by Anthropic, to power its coaching and photo analysis features. When you interact with the AI coach or submit a food photo, relevant context (such as your goals and the photo) is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their own privacy policy and does not use your data to train their models by default. We do not send more information than necessary to generate the response.
We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:
We do not share your personal health data with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.
We retain your account and health data for as long as you have an active account with FIIT. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons.
Anonymized, aggregated analytics data (which cannot be linked back to you) may be retained indefinitely to help us improve the product.

FIIT may send push notifications for daily check-ins and coaching reminders. You can enable or disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings app.
FIIT is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
FIIT is operated from Canada. If you are located outside Canada, your information may be transferred to and processed in Canada or other countries where our service providers operate. By using FIIT, you consent to this transfer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Continued use of FIIT after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
